Rainbow Trifles Recipe

Ingredients
  • 2 boxes of white cake mix (plus ingredients to make it)
  • 2 boxes of instant pudding (plus ingreidents to make it)
  • food coloring
  • whipped cream (optional, but a nice touch)
Instructions
  1. Make cake batter
  2. Divide and color batter
  3. Make pudding
  4. Divide and add color to pudding
  5. Bake your red, yellow and blue cakes
  6. Allow cakes to cool. Trim off the very outer layers of the cake to expose the brighter colors underneath
  7. Cut into cubes
  8. Layer your trifle with cake and pudding
  9. Continue layering until your cups are colorful and full
