DIY Vertical Garden Instructographic
Why must all gardens be horizontal? What about a vertical garden? Takes up less space, looks cool and impresses your gardening buddies; it is a great idea and this instructographic will show you how, literally.
You’ll need a few supplies:
- a wooden pallet
- sandpaper
- staple gun
- staples, obviously
- hammer & nails
- landscaping paper
- planting soil
- plants
- 1/4 inch thick MDF
The steps are outlines in the instructographic above but here are the highlights of building your DIY vertical garden wall:
- Prepare the Pallet – sand it and nail the MDF to it.
- Staple Paper to Pallet – double the paper up and staple to sides.
- Fill Pallet with Soil – fill the pallet with soil leaving room for planting.
- Start Planting – Star at the bottom and make sure plants are packed tight.
- Water & Leave for 2 Weeks – This allows time for plants to take.
- Stand up right and impress your gardening friends.
